Open Trend Radar · for the community

Big sellers have trend analysts. Now every small seller does too — free.

A free, open-source trend analyst for every indie print-on-demand seller. Every day Claude agents read public trend signals across five regions and tell you which niches are rising, how crowded they are, which ones carry trademark risk — and which ones fit your shop.

Our goal: 25,000 indie sellers on the free radar by the end of 2027.

The problem for small sellers

  • Research eats the day

Checking search tools, social feeds and bestseller lists by hand takes hours a seller with one shop doesn't have.

  • You find trends too late

By the time a niche is obvious, it's crowded. Big sellers with analysts and paid tools get there first.

  • One bad niche can cost the shop

Many trending phrases are trademarked. Selling on them leads to takedowns and suspended shops.

How it works

Three agent steps, every morning, for everyone at once.

  1. 01 · Haiku 5.5

    Scan

Reads public signals — search interest, social and hashtag momentum, the seasonal calendar and marketplace bestseller movement — and drops the noise.

  2. 02 · Sonnet 5.5 + Haiku 5.5

    Cluster & score

Groups signals into niches and scores each one for demand vs. saturation. Every niche gets a trademark-risk flag.

  3. 03 · Sonnet 5.5

    Publish

Writes a daily digest for your region, updates a web board you can filter by niche and season, and sends you weekly alerts on the niches you follow.

FAQ

Why is it free?

Because small sellers deserve the same trend view big sellers pay analysts for. The free tier is a real cost for us — every scan and personal alert is a Claude API call — and we fund it from the Design Agent, the paid product that does per-shop work.

When can I use it?

We're building it now (Q4 2026). Early-access members get the first digests; the public board, five regional radars, personal alerts and the open-source code are planned for the H1 2027 launch.

Is the trademark flag legal advice?

No. It's a warning signal from public trademark searches and the agent's judgment. Always check before you sell, and when in doubt, skip the niche.

Which marketplaces does it cover?

The radar is marketplace-neutral: niches are useful whether you sell on Etsy, Shopify, Amazon or elsewhere. Tell us where you sell in the form so we know what to cover first.
